"Whisker fatigue," eh?

From Pawsome Cats, "Whisker Fatigue - Is There Really Such a Thing?"

Here are two things we know for sure:

1) Cats definitely don't like eating or drinking from dishes with tall sides, because the sides intrude on their whiskers' space and bug them. We use wide, shallow dishes for all of the cats who stay here.

2) Metal or glass dishes are best! Plastic dishes are porous and can trap bacteria, causing breakouts on your cat's face. Ceramic dishes are not always food-safe.
