Drs. Kathy Dobesh, Chris Anderson, Diego Sanchez, and Melissa Smith have completed animal acupuncture training at Colorado State University and are available by appointment to treat animals using the holistic approach of acupuncture.
Acupuncture is becoming more common to use in combination with other therapies to treat medical and orthopedic conditions. It has become increasingly popular as a therapy for pain and many other chronic disorders difficult to manage with conventional treatment. Medical research has shown that acupuncture can improve severe intervertebral disk disease, decrease back pain, stimulate immune function, help heal nerve paralysis, reduce recurrence of lower urinary tract infections, affect intestinal motility, and decrease gastric acidity.
We recommend an initial evaluation to assess your pet and to see if acupuncture is the right treatment for them. No appointment is necessary for this examination, but appointments are scheduled for the acupuncture treatment itself.
