Look, this is interesting, and it's all well and good, but I'm always a little suspicious of these tests that ask owners to make judgments about their pets' personalities (for example, this study on calico cats), just because people often have predetermined ideas regarding pet personalities- cats are aloof, dogs are in-your-face- that may or may not align with how the animal really behaves.

Although, at the same time, the article I posted earlier this week (find it here) makes a strong case for the idea that anthropomorphism has actually gotten too LITTLE respect for the contributions is might make to animal science. Draw your own conclusions!
