We offer feline boarding for our established clients at the Medical Center for Cats, by appointment only. This service is available to cats that don't need medical attention, but simply need somewhere to stay while the family is out of town.
Each cat has his or her own individually ventilated cat condo to lounge in while boarding at Smith Veterinary Hospital. If you look up next time you're in the feline lobby, you might catch a glimpse of one of our boarding kitties. Several of the cat condos overlook the feline lobby. The doors that separate the condos can be opened to give cats from the same family adjoining rooms. This feature allows cats to visit each other without being crowded.
We offer Hill’s i/d (canned paté and dry) for all boarding cats. If your cat has a special diet, please bring an adequate supply for us to feed him or her during the stay. Please scroll down for a list of the amenities offered for our boarding cats, free of charge. Feel free to bring something from home for your cat to play with while he or she is here, but we kindly ask that you limit it to a single small item.
We require that all boarding cats be vaccinated against rabies and distemper. If vaccinations are not up to date, please plan to be present for a wellness exam.
Boarding cats can be dropped off until 5pm Monday-Friday and until 3pm Saturday and Sunday.
